Cerenity Senior Care – Humboldt making changes to better meet the needs of residents in our community.

Effective June 4, Cerenity Care Center will be opening a new 22-bed TCU in the Cerenity Care Center – Humboldt building.  This newly renovated unit will provide the same high quality transitional and rehabilitative care currently offered in the Cerenity Residence – Humboldt, but this location will be licensed to serve those whose care is provided by Medicaid (medical assistance).

These changes are being made because we’ve seen a growing need for transitional care services that can serve those who are most vulnerable in our community.  While our current TCU was unable to accept medical assistance, our new unit is licensed to serve those funded by Medicare, private insurance or Medicaid/medical assistance.

This new unit will feature attractive, newly renovated 14 private and four semi-private rooms with adjacent congregate dining and lounge space. Physical and occupational therapy services will be located on the same floor, offering TCU residents convenient access to those services.

In addition to enhancing our transitional care, we’ve updated our Memory Care services.  We now have two smaller, secured units that cater to residents’ needs for care.  The newly renovated Memory Care units have dining and activity areas within each secured unit, offering memory care programming that closely aligns to the needs of residents.
