Century College and Cerenity White Bear Partnership

Monday, December 20, 2017 Century College President Angelia Millender accepted a customized award plaque recognizing outstanding community partnership between the College and Cerenity Senior Care- White Bear Lake.

Cerenity- White Bear Lake has hosted 3 Nursing Assistant certification classes in 2017 on their campus supported by Community Education Instructors of the College. In addition, Century College Nursing students complete clinicals at Cerenity White Bear providing real life and hands on experience to their Nursing degrees. This hands-on experience is invaluable for students who are still working to identify their professional career goals after completing their academic and skills training. Looking forward to 2018, we are excited to begin a Department of Education grant funded educational program with Century College through the Minnesota Job Skills Partnership. This program will provide options for continuing education of our current staff at Cerenity.

President Angelia Millender shared, “There shouldn’t be any barriers to partnering together, because it’s the right thing [to do]. …We want to continue to work with Cerenity to advance the community surrounding the College.”
