Adult Day Center

The Marian of St. Paul DayAway provides professional and compassionate day services for seniors and adults in a safe setting. DayAway offers therapeutic, recreational and spiritual programs, as well as some health services. For caregivers, DayAway provides respite from the demanding responsibilities of caregiving and peace of mind, knowing their loved ones are in good hands.

DayAway is offered Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except for holidays. A typical day runs from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., however, adults also may come for half days.

Our DayAway center is on the first floor of Cerenity Care Center – Marian of Saint Paul. It has a private entrance with on-site handicap parking. Transportation also can be arranged with approved vendors.

Services included in daily rates

• Recreational/leisure activities, including exercise, craft/hobby instruction, gardening, outings, cards, chess, cribbage, computer/Internet instruction and holiday celebrations
• Spiritual care and services, including mass six days a week in our Chapel of St. Mary, weekly nondenominational services, Bible study and hymn sings
• Continental breakfast (including hot breakfast items), hot lunch and afternoon snack
• Medication administration and monitoring
• Assessment/evaluation monthly to monitor changes, such as blood pressure and weight
• On-site nursing
• Problem-solving support
• Priority placement within the Marian campus for assisted or independent living or memory care (determined by availability)

• Physical, occupational and speech therapies according to doctor’s order
• Whirlpool bath or shower
• Nail care
• Glucometer monitoring
• Oxygen monitoring
• Podiatry services, chiropractic care and massage therapy
• Beauty/barber shop
