RESIDENT ASSISTANT

36 hours per two week pay period

Evening shift

The Resident Assistant (RA) will provide tenant care as required under the direct supervision of the liscensed nurse. The RA completes assigned tasks to ensure timely, efficient and safe tenant care. Communications and interactions with the tenants, families and other health team memebers is an essential component of this job.

Must have good communication skills; must be able to read, write and communicate in English;have basic computer skills or be willingness to aquire durieng orientation. Previous experience in Assisted Living/Home Health, and/or Registered Nursing Assistant experience preferred.

The Resident Assistant (RA) will provide patient/resident care as required under the direct supervision of the licensed nurse.  The Resident Assistant completes assigned tasks to ensure timely, efficient and safe patient/resident care.  Communication and interactions with tenants, families and other health team members is an essential component of this position.

Must have good communication skills; must be able to read, write and communicate in English; have basic computer skills or willingness to acquire during orientation. Previous Assisted Living/Home Health, and/or Registered Nursing Assistant experience preferred.
