Duties

 Cerenity Senior Care Humboldt Campus is currently seeking a creative, energetic, and organized candidate to join our team as the Fund Development/Volunteer Director. This individual will launch our new philanthropic effort to cultivate relationships for acceptance and recognition of outstanding senior care within our community, and coordinate our on campus volunteer program.   

 

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Coordination of activities and events, for annual and major gift fundraising
  • Create and advance philanthropic giving to Cerenity Senior Care Humboldt Campus through ensuring a diversified and stable base of funding from all sources
  • Spearhead donor mapping and research through follow-up calling and mailings to build strong donor relationships and enhance donor confidence in the organization.
  • Communicate Cerenity’s compassionate mission and values to donors for continued support of the elder population within our community
  • Oversee acquisition, solicitation, stewardship and monitoring of all donor data and relationships.
  • Conduct and coordinate the preparation and execution of donor proposals, associated with various donor sources.
  • Other duties associated with fund development, major gifts, and in-kind development as assigned.
Qualifications

Qualifications required of preferred candidate include strong relationship building skills, a passion for sustainable development of the foundation, and proven success working with potential donors / volunteers. Excellent communication skills (verbal & written), positive attitude, unparallel leadership skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative manner are needed. Experience in public relations, communication, marketing, campaigning, and/or event planning is preferred. Previous experience in recruiting and directing volunteers is a plus!
