Nearly 50 Cerenity Senior Care employees, friends and family members took part in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s event held Sept. 24 at Hyland Lake Park Reserve in Bloomington, MN. Participants received a flower at the end of the walk – yellow if you are a caregiver, pink if you know someone with Alzheimer’s, and purple to honor someone who died from the disease. Employees also purchased “Casual for a Cause” stickers to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association. Cerenity has memory care assisted living programs at Cerenity Humboldt, Marian and South St. Paul; memory care skilled nursing at Cerenity Humboldt and White Bear Lake; and DayAway adult day services at Cerenity Marian for those with moderate memory loss.
