“Back to the ’50s” was the theme for activities held at Marian Residence to celebrate National Assisted Living Week, Sept. 19 to 23. The week kicked off with an antique car show. The Sidewalk Cafe area was turned into an old-fashioned diner on Tuesday. Staff and volunteers, dressed in costume, served sliders and fries. Tenants listened, tapped their feet and twirled to live music. A malt shop was set up on Thursday.
