Posted on September 20th, 2011 in News Releases, South St. Paul | No Comments

Memories in Motion is a special walk organized by Cerenity Care Center – Bethesda of South St. Paul staff to remember people who died from Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. Family members, volunteers and staff participated, pushing residents along a short route through the neighborhood. Midway, all stopped at Veteran’s Park and prayed the Alzheimer’s Prayer, lead by Chaplain Shuji Moriichi. Back at the Bethesda Care Center, the group prayed the Sending Prayer: “As we go, we praise you O God, for light that arises out of darkness, for comfort which is constant in the midst of confusion, for hope which springs out of sorrow. Let us now go in peace.” Biodegradable balloons were released in memory of loved ones. Click to watch a short video of the walk.
